Downtown Ice and Lights Fest

Sunday, january 21 | 3-5 pm

The weather outside is frightful, but our ice fest will be delightful! With 20+ magical, one-of-a-kind ice sculptures placed throughout Downtown, you can spend the day in Lemont seeing them all and shopping our local businesses!

THE DETAILS

Starting at 1:00 PM, head to Lemont Downtown to explore ice sculptures sponsored by Lemont businesses. At 3:00 PM, head over to Front Street for a live ice carving demonstration!

The carving will take place next to Next Mex near the Lighting Up Lemont display (319 Front Street). Weather permitting, our friends at the Lemont Tractor Club will be giving away free hayrides 🚜. And there is nothing better than the Creamery’s hot chocolate bar! They will be handing out free hot chocolate during the ice carving while supplies last, courtesy of the Village of Lemont. ☕🍪

Plus don’t miss:

  • LIVE REINDEER! 🦌

  • Visits from Jack Frost and Archie the Lemontster

  • Signature food and drink specials from downtown businesses!

WHERE TO Park

All of the Village of Lemont’s public parking lots will be available for this event. There are public bathrooms at the Metra Station and at Safety Village. In addition, port-o-potties will be located on Front Street near the bridge. See our map for locations of parking and restrooms, as well as the rundown of which sculptures will be where!
