Small Business Saturday in Lemont Downtown

Holiday shopping season is upon us and we couldn’t be more excited to find a perfect gift for everyone under the tree. In Lemont Downtown, we’re devoted to our small businesses, and for good reason:

  • According to American Express, for every $1 spent at a small business, one with under 100 employees, 67% of that dollar stays within the community providing jobs and going towards community initiatives.

  • We have over 30+ women-owned businesses in our Lemont Downtown. According to the National Women’s Business Council, WOB’s generated over $1.9 trillion in revenue annually and are responsible for greater economic growth solving the needs of their direct consumer but also collaborating together to create an impact for the entire community.

  • They’re historic! Many of our businesses occupy historically preserved and protected spaces and share the history of our town dating back to the very first settlers.

  • Small business owners are the ones to remember your name, your kid’s name, your dog’s name and know exactly what will make you smile if you take the time to get to know them while you’re shopping in-store.

Here is how you can participate in 2023 Small Business Saturday:

  • For every purchase made at a Downtown business on Small Business Saturday (November 25), you will receive a complimentary Archie the Lemontster sticker and a Lemont 150 sticker.

  • For every $50 you spend at any Downtown business from Friday, November 24 through Tuesday, November 28, you will be entered to win one of 6 limited edition Archie the Lemontster hand-knit plushie.

  • Receipts from multiple businesses can be combined to add up to $50.

  • Winners will be chosen on Friday, December 1, and notified via email.
