As soon as the burnt orange, crisp leaves hit the pavement, the pumpkins are decking the front porch and our calendars are coming out ready to be filled with seasonal activities. We’ve put together a round-up of some of our favorite activities with a little something for the entire family. While our list is long, it is not inclusive of every event in and around Lemont Downtown for fall. Fire District Open House

Go behind the scenes at the local fire department to view trucks and all of the emergency vehicles. While you’re there, enjoy demonstrations on food and cooking safety for the entire family.
Homecoming Flowers Workshop at Aster Gardens

Fall on Canal with Mabel’s Market

Nestled right in charming historic downtown Lemont, this outdoor vendor market gathers the BEST local vintage peddlers and handmade artisans alongside food, live music, and photo ops. Find vendors offering home and holiday decor, jewelry, crochet, coffee, tea, woodwork, refinished furniture, craft beer, honey, vintage dishware, and so much more!
Outdoor Yoga at Fall on Canal
October 1 | 9AM
Reset your body and clear your mind before attending Fall on Canal. This free yoga class offered by Nicole Schneider is an excellent way to move your body into alignment before a day full of fun and shopping.
Jack-O-Lantern World at The Forge

Imagine your typical run-of-the-mill pumpkin transformed into a dragon, angel wings, Princess Diana, or the spookiest monster of your nightmares. The folks at Jack--O-Lantern World take pumpkin carving to the next level and transform it into an immersive art installation. Take a walk through the Forge to view thousands of hand-carved pumpkins.
Whispers from the Past: Old Stone Church Paranormal Investigation

Are you fascinated by the unexplained? Ever wondered if the tales of ghostly apparitions at the Old Stone Church were true? Now is your chance to find out! Join us for a one-of-a-kind paranormal investigation led by the experts at the American Spectral Society. Attendees must be 18 years or older.
Broom Wreath Workshop at Aster Gardens

Enjoy this special class throughout the day during Art on the Green Weekend in Lemont Downtown. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to make your own “broom” and decorate it with dried florals.
Witches Walk

Come spend the day at The Forge this Fall on Monday, October 9th from 10AM-4PM! Our one-day camp for 7-14 year-olds provides a fun & safe outdoor experience utilizing The Forge activities guided by some of our Quarry Camp Counselors. This Fall 1-Day Camp is only $75 per kid!

Taylor Swift Era Tour Movie Party at Digs on Canal

Lemont Swifties know how to celebrate Taylor’s Eras in #style. Join Digs on Canal for their all-day party to celebrate The Eras Tour Movie. Let Certified Forest Therapist Sarah Alvestad be your guide on this calming sensory meditation through local forests. During the walk your guide, Sarah, will suggest a variety of invitations that may keep you connected to nature and to yourself in the present moment. We will conclude our Forest Bathing experience with a tea gathering. Our tea gathering will allow us to give gratitude to the Earth and one another. We will sip the Earth as we also give back to her for sharing her many gifts.
