Cruise Nights

When: Wednesday Nights, June - August
Where: Lemont Downtown

The Lemont Legends Cruise Nights sponsored by Citgo and planned by the Heritage Corridor Business Alliance kicks off on June 1st with ‘Calling All Cars’ as the first theme of the annual car show. Sunset Soirees

When: Thursdays: 6/16, 6/23, 6/14, 7/21, and 7/28
Where: Stephen Street, Lemont Downtown

Put on your dancing shoes and make it a date night, Summer Soirees are back. The 2022 concert series sets up on Stephen Street, and kicks off with Acoustic Hits by Chicks with Picks and features all local bands. Seating begins at 6:00 PM and all concerts begin at 7:00 PM. Independence Day Extravaganza

When: Sunday, July 3rd
Where: Centennial Park 

Celebrate the Independence of America with fireworks and fun for the whole family starting with a DJ Booth, Food Vendors, and Kids Zone Entertainment around 4 PM and fireworks at 9:30 PM. Get the most up-to-date information as we move closer to the event with the Lemont Park District.

Chalk It Up

When: Saturday, July 9th

Chalk It Up is a growing national event that encourages participants to create art using sidewalk chalk. More details coming soon.

Giving back to Lemont COncert

When: Saturday, July 16th
Where: General Fry’s Landing, 319 Front Street

Save the Date for the 10th Annual Giving Back to Lemont Summer Concert. This incredible collaboration amongst local businesses, musicians, and our community helps raise funds and collect food for Lemont’s Local Food Pantries. In the past 9 years, the event has raised over $25,000 and has helped donate truckloads of food. Bring non-perishable food items and monetary donations to be distributed to Lemont’s two food pantries!

Forge Fest

When: Saturday, July 16th
Where: Forge Adventure Park 

It’s time to get outside and play. Starting on June 11th with Super Diamond, The Neil Diamond Tribute Group, and carrying into fall, The Forge’s Summer Concert and Event series is bound to entertain and exhilarate. Stop by the Food Truck Festival on Saturday, July 2nd, or enjoy a Savasana during Sunset Yoga on July 9th.

All summer long you’ll find something to do here from climbing and ziplining to axe throwing and laser tag, and a special kids adventure zone and Summer Camp for ages 7-14.

On July 16th, head to The Forge for Forge Fest, the local music festival featuring Maggie Speaks, one of the most renowned cover bands in the Midwest, and a grand finale of fireworks.

Keepataw Day Parade

When: Sunday, September 4th
Where: Parade starts at Main & Lemont


The Keepataw Parade is back! Since 1951, the parade has had a rich history of community involvement with floats featuring local school teams, clubs, societies, local businesses, community leaders, first responders, and more. Come watch the parade march through the streets of Lemont Downtown, cheer on your local community, and celebrate their achievements. For more information or to check the parade status, check here.
